Top 4 Cool Sunglasses from the Hottest Summer Concerts
If there’s one thing great about summer, it’s the outdoor events. If you’re a lover of live music this means getting together with 10,000 of the coolest people you know and going to outdoor concerts and festivals. I’ve already gone to two so far!
Here’s a pic of my sister and me (left) at Radio 104.5’s birthday bash show in beautiful sunny Camden, NJ.
PS – We forgot our sunglasses.
Now, if you want to see your favorite bands, you’re going to need to pack some cool sunglasses to go with those chuck taylors and that new crop top, so here’s my pick of the most stylish sunglasses to wear to your favorite summer concerts.
Cool Sunglasses and Color Sunglasses and Pink Wayfarers…oh my!
It’s no surprise that pink wayfarers are a popular choice year after year. They have a timeless look, are versatile enough to fit a wide range of face shapes and will look awesome on both men and women.
The best part is that they seem to defy genres, you are guaranteed to look cool and stylish no matter what type of music you listen to. These Ray Ban black wayfarers fit the bill perfectly.
It seems that neon is the new black! Since different color sunglasses were first made popular in the 80’s and have been making a huge comeback in the last few years. The hard rock fans attending the Download Festival in Donington Park, England wore neon color sunglasses in droves to this year’s event.
In a sea of black band t-shirts, this is the perfect way to stand out while rocking out to Soundgarden and Black Sabbath. I’m sure they were also easy to find if you lost them in the giant mud pit that formed this year!
Round Shape Sunglasses
These aren’t your parent’s hippies! If you want to unleash your inner flower child, but not look like a 60’s relic, try out slightly oversized round shape sunglasses.
This will preserve the vintage look we all love, but give them a modern flair. These round shape sunglasses went perfect with the laid back southern California vibes of the Coachella festival where carpooling, refillable plastic water bottles and other green initiatives were rewarded with cool prizes.
Now, If you’re more of the Hollywood glamour type then naturally oversized sunglasses will be best. These should be a staple of every girl’s wardrobe, not only do they provide excellent protection from the sun during those long hours watching amazing bands, but oversized sunglasses go great with almost any style.
I don’t think there could have been a better look to rock out with the Rolling Stones over at this year’s Glastonbury Festival in PIlton, England.
Summer’s only halfway through so there’s still plenty of time to get out there and go support your favorite musical acts! Be sure you can actually see them by checking out our full line of cool sunglasses. Rock on!
